Install went well. Before we got to use the product for recreation (we tested it, and it worked fine), we traded in our camper for one with an electric awning. Oh well!

I was so tired of looking for spring shafts and replacement parts that I knew would break the next wind storm that my trailer saw. Easy to instal and looks better than the cheap original auto rollers.

I found this replacement part online after we attempted to fix our awning ourselves. Storms ripped the fabric and after trying to repair, the springs inside released. We really didn't want to mess with trying to get them wound right again, so we replaced them with this. It arrived in 2 days, was very easy to install (after taking out old springs) and works great. We did have some holes that didn't line up, but we just drilled 2 new holes and everything was fine. (Could be it wasn't exactly for our awning) My wife can open and close the awning all by herself. No cord, no struggling with pulling it out. Just crank it up and out.

After attempting to purchase repair parts for a Colorado carefree awning here in TUCSON AZ (would have been 3rd replacement of awning springs) at $126.00 per side I was advised of a retro fit by the customer service rep.checked the kit out on line and returned and purchased it VERY HAPPY with the results delivery was QUICK product works GREAT and no more return springs to break.Unfortunate that vendors here in Tucson would rather not sell anything than offer a alternative product...
