My plan was to install a basic Fantastic Fan Model 8000 to replace our cheap bath fan but the RV parts salesman suggested the Vortex Fan, a much simplier upgrade.  Installation was easy but the fan is very, very noisy.  As soon as I've had enough I will redo it with the Fantastic Fan.

Install was easy.My problem is the noise.I cantacted Heng Dist. Yhere is nothing that can be done.I mounted it in the living area and and it is almost too difficult to carry on a conversation. What to do,now.

The Heng Vortex Fan is a really good way to upgrade your bathroom fan, with a minimum of labor.  This is a very simple and easy process.  A model with variable speed and a thermostat would be great

Looking for a fan upgrade kit? March 31, 2011

I was never happy with the small, noisey bathroom fan. One day I read in the RV Forum about how happy people were with the Vortex fan upgrade wthout spending a small fortune, so I decided to give it a try and from ordering to receiving to the ease of the install which was about an hour was a great experience. The operation of the fan is flawless, the power and the reduction in the noise over the OEM fan was great. I encourage anyone thinking of making a change to give the upgrade kit a try, I did and am glad I did. J W Stuart
