The Samlex 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller is micro-controller based for automatic, intelligent operation designed for 12V nominal solar panels and 12V battery systems. It has 3 Stage charging (Bulk, Absorption, Float) for 100% return of capacity and long battery life. It can be used with two types of batteries: Flooded/Web Cell or Sealed AGM. Totally sealed, splash proof, weather resistant design, the Samlex 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller automatically turns on your lights when its dark and turns them off during the day. Comes with Mosfet based reverse current blocking that prevents night-time battery discharge and lowers power loss. Protected from Overload, Over-temperaure, Battery Under/Over Voltage and Reverse Polarity. Operates on a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 140 degrees F. Included: (1) SCC-1208L Charge Controller and Manual.
