The Surge Guard Plus provides bumper to bumper RV protection from faulty power for 50 Amp applications.  This unit continuously monitors shore power and shuts off when it detects an electrical condition that could damage electronics in your coach.  The hardwire unit is installed in the bay of the coach and features an easy to read remote unit that provides information on electrical status where it is most convenient for you.  Total electrical protection from faulty park power for your RV.  Easy to read, two-line backlit LCD remote display indicates the of source voltage, load current, or diagnostics. Protects from multi-mode surge suppression (fuse protected), low (<102V) and high (>132V) voltage, incorrectly wired pedestal and open neutral conditions. Offers 3350 joules of surge protection. UL Listed. 1 year warranty on surge protection circuit.
Features
  • 60A full rated contactor (75A resistive) mounted on vibration isolators to ensure quiet operation.
  • Over/under voltage protection. Contactor opens outside of (102-132V) range after 8-second delay.
  • Over/under frequency protection. Contactor opens outside of (54-70Hz) range after 30-second delay.
  • Source power connection diagnostics. Contactor will not close or will open in the event of an open line, open neutral, open ground conductor, or reverse polarity condition.
  • Brown/blackout protection 2 min 15 second delay is initiated after removal of power to ensure AC compressor head bleed off.
  • Feature can be disabled on remote.
  • Bypass switch – Low Voltage between 95-102VAC and open ground faults can be bypassed by toggling the remote front panel switch to the Bypass position.
