HOW TO ORDER: Measure the length of both sides of C Channel on RV. (exclude awning area unless it is below roof line) Add both sides and order in one length. For example a 32' travel trailer with a 20' awning and 28' of C Channel on both sides would need 28' of RainKap on the drivers side and 8' on the passenger side (this is less the awning length) for a total of 36'. You would order the 36' length of Rainkap and cut at the time of installation.

RainKap securely replaces the common one-inch trim insert (screw cover) found in various RV trim insert moldings. Note: Not every RV has this C Channel Trim Molding. See below to help identify if your RV has this molding.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: An Anvil Pruner works great for cutting or trimming. Gradual angles on moldings are alright. Sharp turns require a notch or cut. To ease installation have RainKap warm and pliable and use a screen tool. Remove the one inch-vinyl insert. Standard molding shown. Insert a section of the bottom leg into the lower channel with the RainKap sloped downward. Roll the concave wheel of a screen tool along the top leg using a downward and inward force to insert the top leg. Repeat until the complete length is installed. Cut off the excess. (Recommended) Silicone caulk the bottom leg at each end and the opening at the screw clearance arch. Caulk the upper caulking channel its entire length. (The caulking channel provides an extra measure of leak protection.)
