The Demco Jeep Grand Cherokee Base Plate # 9518072 For 1999 to 2004 Model Years is designed to be virtually unseen and won't protrude out, hang below or rise above your bumper or grill. A base plate is the frame work that allows you to hook a tow bar to your Jeep Grand Cherokee and tow it 4 wheels down. Demco takes safety seriously and uses Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) when testing base plates for strength, functionality and durability. Each baseplate bolts permanently to the chassis of your vehicle and provides a secure, reliable attachment point for all Demco tow bars or Blue Ox, Ready Brute and Roadmaster tow bars with added adapter.

NOTE: not all vehicles can be towed 4 wheels down, be sure to check with the manufacturer or dealer to verify your Jeep Grand Cherokee can be towed in this way.
