Tank Blanket RV Holding Tank Heater - 60 Gallon - 12" x 30"
Installation:- Determine the best location by placing the Tank Blanket on the area of the tank where the majority of the water sits. This will make it easier to heat the water thoroughly.
- Clean area where it is being placed, this will help the back stick to the tank better.
- The bump under the red dot is the control thermostat. This must be near the lowest point of the tank area where the liquid is present, for accuracy.
- With out using adhesive, test the position by holding the heater on the tank, with the red dot near the lowest point. Check the route and clearance of the power wires.
- Remove the 2 backing papers from the back and the heater assembly.
- Stick the heater to the tank, but be careful as the adhesive is very sticky. Make sure the wires are out of the way, then seal the heater tight against the tank.
- Connect power.

How The Tank Blanket Works: Once installed on your RV water tank, the thermostat switch controls the flow of electrical current to the heating element. The thermostat switch will turn on the heater at approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit and will turn off the heater at approximately 58 degrees. Because aluminum is a good insulator, the backing of this heater will hold the heat in. This process will keep the liquid in the tank from freezing during harsh weather.
