Additional Product Information
The Inverta ball has a spring-loaded locking mechanism that keeps the ball in place during use, avoiding potential accidents. This also gets rid of levers, locks or cables in the truck fender wells. The ball is stored by unlocking and removing it, then inverting it and putting the ball back into the socket. This is an easy way to keep it stored until you need it again.
The ability to remove the hitch ball and store it keeps the Diamond Hitch flush with the floor. The Diamond Hitch is mounted entirely underneath your Ford truck bed, keeping storage space open when nothing is being towed.
Installation is made easier and quicker because the Diamond Hitch is bolted directly to the truck frame. It needs a four-inch hole in the truck bed for the ball cylinder, but uses existing bolts and holes whenever it can. The main hitch assembly is constructed from one-piece tubular steel to add to the overall strength and durability.
