The Energize III Brake Controller contains Hayes' patented pendulum sensing device using Hall Effect Technology, to automatically monitor and measure tow vehicle deceleration to provide smooth proportional trailer braking. It reacts instantly to any change in break pedal pressure by applying trailer brakes at the same rate as the tow vehicle brakes.
