- Base rails sit in truck bed and provide necessary attachment points for 5th-wheel trailer hitches
- Fits the following Ford models (6' bed or longer):
- F-150 and F-250 (through 1996)
- F-250 with over 8,500 GVW (through 1997)
- F-350 (through 1997)
- F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty (excluding cab-on-chassis models) (2005 - 2015)
- Fits the following Ram models (6' bed or longer):
- 1500 (2002-2008)
- 2500 (2002-2013)
- 3500 (2002-2012)
