Installation Instructions

Note: An Anvil Pruner works great for cutting or trimming. Gradual angles on moldings are alright. Sharp turns require a v-notch or cut on the bottom leg. To ease installation have RainKap WARM AND PLIABLE and use a screen tool. A hair dryer on high setting will WARM the RainKap. Remove the one-inch vinyl insert. Standard molding shown. Insert a section of the bottom leg into the lower channel (shown below) with the RainKap sloped downward.

Roll the concave wheel of a screen spline tool (shown below) along the top leg using a downward and inward force to insert the top leg. Repeat until the complete length is installed. Cut off the excess. (Recommended) Silicone caulk the bottom leg at each end and the opening at the screw clearance arch. Caulk the upper caulking channel its entire length. (The caulking channel provides an extra measure of leak protection.)/i//RainKap_Install_Drawing.jpg
