The Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod is a patented magnesium anode rod for aluminum water heaters (Atwood style). It preserves the life of your water heater by corroding itself so your water heater tank doesn't.
  • Internal drain valve allows you to drain your water heater without tools.

  • Note: It is recommended to inspect your anode rod monthly. Over time, minerals can build up around the drain plug opening making the removal of your anode rod difficult, and frequent inspection will help prevent this. Drain the water heater by turning the drain valve handle counterclockwise. For maximum performance, replace your RV Water Heater Anode Rod when less than one half of the rod remains.
