The Demco Chevy HHR Base Plate # 9518196 For 2006 to 2011 Vehicles is designed specifically for this model vehicle, and mounts permanently to the chassis of your vehicle and provides a secure, reliable attachment point for all Demco tow bars or Blue Ox, Ready Brute and Roadmaster tow bars with added adapter. A base plate is the frame work that allows you to hook a tow bar to your Chevy HHR and tow it 4 wheels down. Demco takes safety seriously and uses Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) when testing base plates for strength, functionality and durability.
