Description

The Torklift C1205M Magnum Superhitch Frame Mounted Receiver is designed for '01-'10 Chevys with long beds. It is a towing system made with truck campers in mind, featuring weight ratings that are the highest available. Using two 2 1/2" receiver openings with 2" adapters, the Magnum C1205M can serve two purposes. It can be used as a regular trailer hitch, or it can tow with a camper on your truck with the SuperTruss receiver extension (sold separately). The Magnum has a 20,000 lb capacity and can be used with any standard ball mounts. The 20,000lbs is achieved with a weight distribution system or with the extension, it reaches 12,000lbs. This hitch receiver has a 17,000lb capacity, or 6,000lb with the extension if there is no weight distribution. It has hardened hitch pin locations that are reinforced and pre-drilled for torklift camper tie downs. With the Magnum Superhitch, there is no need for two ball mounts. Comes with a Lifetime Guarantee.

Factory OEM Receiver Hitch Requires-14-2007 Dealer Installed Receiver Hitch Requires-14-2008

Question: Does my 2003-2012 Dodge 2500/3500 truck have a factory receiver hitch or a dealer installed receiver hitch?

Answer: The factory hitch and dealer installed hitch are extremely similar. The only distinct way to differentiate between the two is to check how the 2" x 2" receiver is attached to the round cross bar. Below on the left, you can see the true factory hitch welded on to the round cross bar; there are no bolts attaching the two. On the right, you can clearly see the bolts that attach the dealer installed receiver to the round crossbar.
