The Demco Chevy Equinox Base Plate # 9518254 For 2010 - 2013 Vehicles bolts permanently to the chassis of the towed vehicle and provides a secure attachment point for all Demco Tow Bars. A baseplate is the frame work that allows you to hook a tow bar to your Chevy Equinox and tow it 4 wheels down. Demco takes safety seriously and uses Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) when testing base plates for strength, functionality and durability.
