This is a 30 amp Marinco locking boot. It snaps over your 30 amp Marinco shore power connection to seal it from rain, spray, dust, and UV exposure. If your shore power plug sits exposed to the elements — at a dock or on the outside of your RV — this boot keeps water out of the connection and prevents corrosion that leads to resistance, heat, and eventual failure.
