Keep UV rays, rain, snow, and road grime off your motorhome tires with ADCO's diamond plate Tyre Gards. Built from heavy-duty flannel-backed vinyl with UV and cold-crack treatment, these covers are designed to sit outdoors year-round without cracking, fading, or letting moisture through -- protecting the sidewalls that keep your rig rolling.
ADCO's Tyre Gards in the diamond plate series are a step up from generic black covers. The silver diamond plate finish is designed to mimic the look of diamond plate steel, giving your rig a finished, polished appearance while the cover does serious protective work underneath. These are purpose-built for triple axle motorhomes with tire diameters in the 30" to 32" range.
Tire sidewall degradation from UV exposure is one of the most overlooked forms of RV wear. Even tires with good tread depth can develop sidewall cracking -- called ozone cracking or dry rot -- when left exposed to sunlight during storage or extended parking. A quality vinyl cover is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to extend tire life significantly.
Thick vinyl outer shell is backed with soft flannel lining, protecting the tire surface from abrasion while keeping moisture out.
The vinyl compound is treated to resist UV degradation and cold-weather cracking, so the cover itself won't fail during winter storage.
A rear strap and buckle system cinches the cover down so it won't blow off in wind. Elasticized rear seam adds a second layer of snug retention.
The embossed silver diamond plate pattern gives a modern, professional look that stands out from flat-black covers. Designed to look like actual diamond plate steel.
The rear seam of each Tyre Gard is elasticized, pulling the cover tight against the back of the tire and wheel. Combined with the front strap-and-buckle, the cover stays put even in gusty conditions -- a common complaint with cheaper covers that rely only on a drawstring. Installation takes under a minute per tire once you have the routine down.
Each package contains one (1) tire cover. For a full triple axle setup you will need to order three (3) covers. If your coach has a dual-tire (super single or wide-base) configuration, verify your actual tire diameter before ordering.
These covers are sized for the third axle position as well as the primary drive axles on triple-axle Class A and Class C motorhomes. The 30" to 32" diameter range covers the majority of common motorhome tire sizes in this class. Check your tire sidewall for the diameter spec -- it is listed as part of the tire size designation (e.g., a 295/75R22.5 has an approximate overall diameter of approximately 41 inches, so always verify before ordering).
Common tire sizes that fall in the 30"--32" diameter range include many popular light truck and smaller motorhome fitments. Always measure your actual mounted tire diameter or cross-reference your tire size chart to confirm fit before ordering.
