Aqua Pro Part 27588C Complete Water Connection Bundle Aqua Pro Standard RV Water System Starter Kit -- Everything You Need to Hook Up and Roll

Whether you just picked up your first travel trailer or you are refreshing an aging setup, the Aqua Pro 27588C gives you the core water-connection accessories in one box. Stop making multiple hardware-store trips -- this kit puts a drinking-safe hose, an inline sediment/taste filter, a brass pressure regulator, and the fittings you actually need in your bay before your first campsite trip.

One Box -- Your Complete City-Water Connection

New RV owners quickly learn that a bare water connection is asking for trouble. Campground water pressure can spike well above 80 PSI -- enough to blow a fitting, swell a hose, or crack a valve inside the coach. Unfiltered municipal water picks up sediment, chlorine taste, and odor along the way. The Aqua Pro 27588C is designed to solve all of that at once without hunting down individual components.

The kit ships in a compact 26 x 20.9 x 5-inch package weighing just over 8 lbs, so it stores flat in a basement bay, a truck bed, or a garage shelf. Every piece is sized for standard RV and campground fittings -- no adapters required for the typical setup.

Drinking Water Safe Hose

White or blue exterior, lead-free, low-odor construction rated for potable water. Standard 3/4 inch GHT fittings on both ends connect directly to campground spigots and RV inlets.

Inline Water Filter

Reduces sediment, chlorine taste, and odor before water enters your fresh system. Inline design installs between the regulator and the coach inlet -- no tools needed.

Brass Pressure Regulator

Reduces incoming campground water pressure to a coach-safe level -- typically limiting to approximately 40-45 PSI -- protecting water lines, fittings, and the water heater from pressure spikes.

Fittings and Connectors

Includes the adapters and elbow fittings needed to complete the connection chain from spigot to RV, reducing the chances of a kinked hose or strained inlet port.

Who This Kit Is For

The "standard" designation means this is Aqua Pro's baseline bundle -- right-sized for Class B and Class C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and pop-up campers that use a standard 3/4 inch GHT city water inlet. If your rig uses a 1/2 inch NPT threaded inlet, a simple 3/4 GHT to 1/2 NPT adapter (available separately) bridges the gap.

  • First-time RV buyers setting up a new unit
  • Owners replacing worn, kinked, or smelly hoses after a season or two
  • Families camping at full-hookup state parks, KOA, and private campgrounds
  • Part-time and weekend warriors who want one grab-and-go kit in the bay
Potable Water Safe Throughout
All hose and filter components in the 27588C are rated for drinking water contact. This matters -- garden hoses and standard green utility hoses contain plasticizers and lead that leach into water over time. The Aqua Pro hose included here is specifically manufactured for potable use, meeting the same basic standard as other NSF/FDA-intended drinking water hoses in the RV aftermarket.

Connecting the Kit -- Typical Setup Sequence

The standard hookup order from campground spigot to RV is: spigot -- pressure regulator -- inline filter -- drinking water hose -- RV city water inlet. This sequence ensures regulated, filtered water flows through the hose rather than exposing the hose itself to full campground pressure before regulation.

  1. Thread the brass pressure regulator onto the campground spigot (3/4 GHT male thread).
  2. Attach the inline filter to the outlet side of the regulator.
  3. Connect the drinking water hose between the filter outlet and the RV city water inlet.
  4. Turn on the spigot slowly and check all connections for drips before leaving the setup unattended.
Pressure Regulator Note
The included brass regulator is a fixed-output type -- it reduces pressure to a set point rather than allowing adjustment. This is the correct choice for a starter kit because it requires zero setup. If your specific coach has a very low pressure limit (some older units or European-built coaches), consider upgrading to an adjustable regulator with a built-in gauge as a separate accessory.

Storage and Maintenance

After each trip, drain the hose completely, coil it loosely, and store it in a dedicated bag or bin to avoid kinking and mildew. Flush the inline filter with clean water before storage if it has been used with heavily chlorinated or sediment-heavy water. Inspect the brass regulator threads each season for corrosion or cross-threading.

Seasonal Maintenance Tips
  • Replace the inline filter cartridge at least once per season, or sooner if water flow noticeably decreases.
  • Inspect hose end washers each trip -- a cracked washer is the most common source of a slow drip at the spigot or inlet.
  • Store the brass regulator threads-up so debris does not collect in the female port during off-season storage.
  • Run clean water through the hose for 30 seconds at the start of each season before connecting to the RV.
Not a Winterization Kit
The Aqua Pro 27588C is a city-water hookup bundle for active use. It does not include RV antifreeze, a water pump bypass kit, or winterization fittings. For cold-climate storage, those items are purchased separately.

Important Information -- Read Before Use
  • Always use the pressure regulator between the campground spigot and your RV. Skipping it exposes interior plumbing to potentially damaging pressure spikes above 80 PSI.
  • This kit is intended for city water (full hookup) connections only -- it is not a pump, accumulator, or boondocking water system.
  • Do not use the included drinking water hose for sewer flushing or black tank rinse duties. Keep potable and waste hoses physically separate and visually distinct.
  • Inspect hose end washers before each use. A missing or cracked washer will cause leaks and can allow unfiltered water to bypass the connection seal.
  • The inline filter has a finite service life. Do not rely on it indefinitely -- replace per the filter manufacturer recommendation or at minimum once per camping season.
  • Not suitable for use with well water or untreated natural water sources without additional filtration and treatment upstream.
  • Store away from freezing temperatures. Water left in a hose or filter housing in freezing conditions will expand and can crack fittings.
