B&W Hitches Class IV Double Ball Mount B&W Hitches TS10037BB -- Turnoverball Class IV Double Ball Mount (2" x 2-5/16")

Stop swapping ball mounts every time you switch trailers. The B&W TS10037BB gives you both a 2-inch and a 2-5/16-inch ball on a single solid-steel mount, so you can flip it to match whatever you're hooking up -- from a lighter utility trailer to a full-size travel trailer or fifth-wheel-ready gooseneck setup. Built to B&W's exacting tolerances in Humboldt, Kansas, this is the kind of hardware that outlasts the truck it rides under.

Two Balls. One Mount. No Compromises.

The TS10037BB is part of B&W's Turnoverball system -- a line of premium receiver and gooseneck hitch accessories built around the idea that tow vehicle owners shouldn't have to own a drawer full of ball mounts. This double-ball version carries a 2-inch ball on one side and a 2-5/16-inch ball on the other, making it instantly compatible with the two most common trailer coupler sizes on the road.

The mount is machined and welded from solid steel, then finished with a durable black powder coat that resists road grime, UV exposure, and the kind of abuse that comes with regular trailering. At just under 30 pounds, this is a substantial piece of hardware -- the weight reflects the steel density, not wasted bulk.

Two Ball Sizes Ready to Go

2-inch and 2-5/16-inch balls on a single reversible mount -- covers the majority of travel trailers, boat trailers, horse trailers, and utility haulers without any swaps.

Class IV Rated

Engineered for heavy-duty towing applications. Class IV receiver compatibility means this mount is suited to 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks with substantial tow ratings.

Solid Steel Construction

B&W builds in Humboldt, Kansas using domestic-quality steel. No cast zinc, no hollow shanks -- the same solid-steel philosophy applied across the entire Turnoverball lineup.

Turnoverball System Compatible

Designed to pair with B&W's Turnoverball gooseneck hitch platform, giving fifth-wheel and gooseneck owners a unified, premium towing ecosystem.

Who This Ball Mount Is Built For

RV owners who regularly switch between trailers will get the most out of the TS10037BB. If your household runs a travel trailer with a 2-5/16-inch coupler and a smaller utility or car trailer with a 2-inch coupler, this single mount handles both without a toolbox dig. It's also a smart choice for full-timers or seasonal campers who tow a dinghy or boat trailer in addition to their main rig.

The 2-5/16-inch ball is the standard size for most Class III and Class IV travel trailers, including the majority of rigs from Forest River, Keystone, Heartland, Grand Design, and similar brands. The 2-inch ball picks up boat trailers, motorcycle trailers, smaller utility hauls, and older conventional couplers.

Turnoverball System Advantage: The TS10037BB is designed to work with B&W's Turnoverball gooseneck hitch platform, which uses a recessed ball-and-socket in the truck bed. Owners of the Turnoverball system who also need conventional receiver-mounted towing get a cohesive, all-B&W setup with this mount.

Receiver Fit and Drop/Rise

The TS10037BB is designed for 2-inch square receiver tubes, which are standard on Class III and Class IV hitches found on most 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, and 1-ton pickup trucks and SUVs. The mount uses a standard hitch pin and clip retention (hitch pin not included -- use a 5/8-inch pin or a locking hitch pin for security).

Verify drop or rise measurement before ordering. B&W manufactures multiple shank drop configurations across the Turnoverball double-ball lineup. The TS10037BB shank is sized for typical truck frame heights -- measure from the top of your receiver tube opening to the desired ball height to confirm this model is the correct drop/rise for your application.

Measuring for Drop/Rise: With your tow vehicle on level ground and unloaded, measure from the top of your 2-inch receiver opening down to the ground, then compare to your trailer coupler height at the same unladen state. A level hitch-to-coupler connection improves towing stability and reduces tongue weight stress on the coupler.

Finish and Corrosion Resistance

The black powder coat finish on the TS10037BB provides solid protection against surface rust and UV degradation. For extended life, especially in salt-belt states or coastal regions, periodic application of a rust-inhibiting spray on the shank and exposed metal surfaces is recommended after washing.

Maintenance Tip: Remove the ball mount from the receiver periodically and clean the shank. Leaving a steel shank in a receiver for an entire season without removal can cause galvanic binding, especially on aluminum-receiver hitches. A light coat of anti-seize compound on the shank prevents this.

What Is and Is Not Included

  • Included: TS10037BB double ball mount with both balls pre-installed and torqued
  • Not included: Hitch pin and clip (use a 5/8-inch pin rated for your tow class)
  • Not included: Trailer safety chains or breakaway cable
  • Not included: Ball lubricant or coupler grease (recommended for 2-5/16-inch ball operation)
Pair With: Consider adding a B&W-compatible locking hitch pin to secure the mount against theft and rattle. A 5/8-inch receiver lock from a brand like Reese or CURT fits the standard receiver hole on Class IV hitches.

Important Information -- Read Before Installing
  • Always verify your tow vehicle's maximum tow rating and tongue weight capacity before towing. The ball mount's Class IV rating does not override your truck's published tow limits.
  • Confirm drop or rise is correct for your trailer before towing. An unlevel hitch can shift tongue weight distribution and affect trailer stability.
  • Hitch pin (5/8-inch) is NOT included. Never tow without a properly rated and installed hitch pin. A locking hitch pin is strongly recommended to prevent mount theft and reduce rattle.
  • Torque ball nuts to manufacturer specification before each season or after any ball changeout. Do not rely on hand-tightening alone.
  • Inspect the mount for cracks, deformation, or corrosion before each use. Retire the mount immediately if any structural damage is found.
  • This product is designed for conventional receiver-style towing. It is not a gooseneck or fifth-wheel connection device.
  • Do not exceed the rated capacity of your hitch receiver, even if the ball mount is rated higher.
