Two standard X-Chock tire stabilizers for tandem axle RVs and trailers. Fits tire spacing up to 10". Opposing-force design eliminates trailer sway and rocking. Ratchet wrench included with each chock. Lockable. Made in the USA. Limited lifetime warranty.
The BAL 28012 is the two-pack version of the original X-Chock β the most popular tandem axle tire stabilizer in the RV industry. Rather than wedging against one tire like a traditional chock, the X-Chock inserts between the two tires on a tandem axle and ratchets outward, applying opposing pressure to both tires at once. This dramatically reduces the rocking and sway that makes walking around a parked trailer uncomfortable, and works with the tires' natural flex rather than rigidly resisting it.
Most RV owners deploy one X-Chock per tandem axle pair, placing it in the center between the two tires. The 28012 two-pack gives you full coverage for one tandem axle set on both sides of the trailer β the most common setup for travel trailers and 5th wheels. Each chock comes with its own ratchet wrench and fits standard axle spacing up to 10". For wider tire gaps, see the BAL 28014 or 28024 X-Tended Fit models.
Braces both tandem tires simultaneously β works with tire movement to eliminate sway rather than fight it

Compatible with the optional BAL 28015 pad lock for security when the trailer is left unattended
Zinc-coated rust-inhibitive steel. U.S. Patent #8,365,875. Limited lifetime warranty.
The X-Chock is a stabilizer, not a safety tire chock. It is not designed to prevent the trailer from rolling and should never substitute for wheel chocks during leveling. Correct sequence: Level and secure your trailer with wheel chocks and jacks first. Then insert the X-Chock between the tandem tires and ratchet it snug. Deploy stabilizing jacks before extending any slide-outs. Power tool caution: Do not use a cordless impact wrench to operate the X-Chock. Use the included ratchet handle, or a drill with an adjustable chuck set to feel resistance. Impact wrench use will damage the mechanism.
