The Curt 45460 Commercial Duty ball mount is built for demanding towing applications where standard ball mounts may not provide enough capacity. Its solid, one-piece forged-steel construction eliminates welds and provides the strength needed for large utility trailers, equipment trailers, livestock trailers, RVs, car haulers, and other heavy loads.
Designed specifically for 2-1/2" receiver hitches, this ball mount provides an 8" drop or 6-1/2" rise to help level the trailer behind taller trucks. A durable carbide black powder-coat finish helps protect the steel against rust, road salt, scratches, and other outdoor exposure.

Maximum capacity depends on the mounting orientation. The Curt 45460 is rated for 20,000 lbs. GTW / 2,700 lbs. TW in the drop position and 16,000 lbs. GTW / 2,160 lbs. TW in the rise position. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in the complete towing system.
