Add a convenient 7-way RV blade socket inside the truck bed for easier 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer connections. This 7' plug-and-play harness retains use of the factory rear bumper socket and requires no cutting or splicing of the vehicle wiring.
Curt 57008 adds a second 7-way RV blade connector inside the bed of select Ford pickups, putting the electrical connection close to a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer coupler. The harness plugs into the vehicle's existing OEM trailer-wiring connection and continues power to the original rear bumper socket.
The 7' extension includes a right-angle plug for easier routing, protective slit loom around the wiring, and a spring-loaded dust cover on the bed-mounted socket. For aluminum truck beds, the included isolator hardware helps separate steel fasteners from the aluminum surface to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.
Provides ample length for routing from the factory harness into the truck bed
Adds a standard 7-way socket for 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer wiring
Connects to the factory trailer wiring without cutting or splicing
Keeps the original bumper-mounted trailer connector operational
Installation requires a 2-1/8" hole to be cut in the truck bed for the added 7-way RV blade socket. Select a location that provides adequate clearance behind the bed wall before drilling.
Curt 57008 is designed to plug into compatible factory trailer-wiring connections. Verify vehicle fitment before ordering, particularly on cab-and-chassis Super Duty configurations.
