The Curt 57672 upgrades a vehicle equipped with a standard 4-way flat trailer connector by adding a 7-way RV blade socket while retaining a convenient 4-way flat output. This allows the same tow vehicle to connect to trailers using either of the two most common trailer wiring formats.
The existing 4-way connection supplies basic trailer lighting functions, while additional wiring can be connected to enable reverse lights, electric trailer brakes, and auxiliary power through the 7-way socket. Protective slit loom, connector dust covers, and an included metal mounting bracket provide a clean and durable installation.
