The Curt 59236 is a universal splice-in solution for vehicles that do not have a compatible custom trailer wiring harness available. Its multi-function design works with 2-wire, 3-wire, and PWM vehicle lighting systems and converts the signals to standard 2-wire trailer lighting through a 4-way flat connector.
The converter features a potted enclosure for increased water and vibration resistance, along with SMT circuitry and microprocessor-controlled protection against overloads, short circuits, and excessive heat. This kit also includes the Curt 55152 powered converter wiring kit for connecting the converter directly to the vehicle battery.
