Thread the male GHT inlet onto the campsite spigot by hand, then snug it with a strap wrench if needed -- do not use pipe wrenches on the brass body. Apply a thin wrap of PTFE thread tape to the male inlet threads if the spigot threads are worn or if you notice any weeping at the connection. Each female outlet accepts a standard 3/4" GHT hose fitting. Tighten hose connections by hand; over-tightening can crack the female threads.
Winterize by closing both shut-off handles, disconnecting hoses, and blowing any standing water out of the valve body before temperatures drop below freezing. The brass body is durable but standing water in a closed valve can freeze and crack the body or damage the internal seats. Store indoors when not in use for extended periods.
