Dump stations are not standardized. Some have a 3-inch slip inlet. Some have threaded openings -- 3", 3.5", or 4". Most RVers carry two or three adapters and still get caught without the right one. This adapter is designed for use with standard North American RV sewer hoses that use the Camco bayonet fitting style -- the same bayonet used on Camco Rhinoflex, Duraflex, and similar hose systems. The adapter body accepts the hose bayonet on one end and inserts into the dump station inlet on the other end.
