Keyless thumb-turn cam lock for RV baggage compartment doors. 5/8" cylinder length, 3/4" mounting hole. Fits doors up to 5/8" thick. Includes one offset cam and one straight cam.
The Camco 44333 is a 5/8" thumb-operated cam lock for RV exterior baggage compartment doors — the shorter-cylinder sibling of the 44323 (7/8") in Camco's cam lock lineup. It operates without a key: a quarter-turn of the thumb tab rotates the cam plate behind the door panel, catching the door frame and holding the compartment closed securely. Turning the thumb tab back releases the cam and opens the door.
Both a straight cam and an offset cam are included, allowing the installer to choose whichever cam geometry correctly engages the compartment's door jamb. The cylinder is 5/8" long and requires a 3/4" diameter mounting hole. It fits door panels up to 5/8" thick with the straight cam, or up to 1-1/16" with the offset cam. Like all Camco thumb cam locks, this is a non-locking thumb turn — it holds the door closed but does not provide keyed security.
Three measurements determine fit: 1. Cylinder length (5/8"): Distance from the door face to the back of the cylinder — measure your existing lock or door backset. 2. Mounting hole diameter (3/4"): Diameter of the hole in the door panel. 3. Door thickness (up to 5/8" or 1-1/16"): Use the straight cam for panels up to 5/8" thick; the offset cam for up to 1-1/16". If your existing lock has a 7/8" cylinder, see Camco 44323 instead.

The 44333 is a compartment door cam lock — not a sewer hose clamp or sewer fitting, despite how some listings describe it. It is used on RV baggage compartment door panels only. It is also non-locking — it holds the door closed but anyone can open it by turning the thumb tab. For keyed security, see Camco's keyed cam lock lineup.
