Campground water pressure routinely exceeds 80 PSI -- well above the 60 PSI maximum most RV water systems and fittings are designed for. The included brass regulator clamps that pressure to the 40-50 PSI range before it enters your coach, protecting city-water inlets, check valves, toilet fill valves, and flexible supply lines from stress cracking and blowouts.
The TastePURE hose is rated for drinking water and should be stored separately from the sewer hose. Many RVers mark the ends with colored tape or use a dedicated hose bag (sold separately) to prevent cross-contamination in the storage bay.
The 15M/30F adapter allows physical connection to a 15-amp outlet but does NOT increase available power. Running air conditioning, a microwave, and other high-draw appliances simultaneously on a 15-amp circuit will trip the breaker. Use this adapter for low-draw situations or when no 30-amp service is available.
Add 2-3 gallons of water to the black tank before dropping in the TST tablet. This activates the enzymes and ensures the tablet dissolves fully before waste accumulates. Do not use with formaldehyde-based holding tank chemicals -- TST is a biological enzyme formula and the two are incompatible.
This Level VIII kit is designed as a starting point. Common additions include a sewer hose support (keeps the hose at a consistent downhill slope), a water hose elbow fitting to relieve stress on the city water inlet, a locking hose cap for the dump valve, and a longer 20-ft sewer hose extension for sites where the cleanout is farther from the rig.
