The Camco 45149 installs on the interior side of the vent frame. Clean the vent frame surface, peel and stick the hook-and-loop strips, and press the shade into place. The shade can be folded and stored in an overhead cabinet when not in use. No permanent adhesive is required on the shade itself -- only the hook-and-loop strips contact the vent frame.
This shade is designed for the most common RV roof vent size: 14 x 14 in. It is compatible with vents from Elixir, Ventline, Maxxair, Fan-Tastic, and similar brands that use the 14 x 14 in. standard opening. The shade does not include a vent cover, fan, or screen -- it is an interior shade only. If your vent is a different size (10 x 14 in. or 20 x 20 in.), this shade will not fit correctly.
