The Clamp-N-Carry is sized and rated for four or more standard folding camp chairs, depending on chair style and width. Slimmer sling-style chairs typically allow you to stack more than four; bulkier zero-gravity or padded chairs may fit closer to four. The 50 lb per side weight limit (100 lbs total) also makes this rack suitable for hanging lightweight bikes or other gear when chairs aren't aboard.
A dedicated adjustable strap is included in the box to cinch chairs together and prevent them from shifting, swaying, or rattling while driving. This is one of the details that separates the Clamp-N-Carry from basic bungee-and-hook solutions.
Mounting uses the two included clamp-and-carry brackets, which attach to your ladder rungs using the provided Allen key. No drilling, no welding, and no permanent ladder modification required. Initial setup takes 15-30 minutes. Once the brackets are set, the rack clips on and off without tools.
The Clamp-N-Carry is designed for standard round-rung RV rear ladders with 1-inch or 7/8-inch diameter tubing. It is not designed for square-tube or flat-bar ladder styles. If your ladder has an unusual rung spacing or non-standard diameter, verify measurements before ordering. This rack does not include a locking cable or padlock for securing chairs or bikes against theft -- use a separate cable lock if that is a concern.
Maximum capacity is 100 lbs total, with a maximum of 50 lbs per side. Overloading one side or exceeding the total limit can stress ladder rungs and bracket clamps. Distribute gear as evenly as possible between the two sides of the rack.
