The Camco 51611 is a hitch-mounted flagpole holder that slides into any standard 2" trailer hitch receiver and holds a flagpole firmly in place with a built-in thumbscrew. It's the simplest way to fly a flag from an RV, truck, or SUV — at a campsite, tailgate, or on the road — without drilling, mounting brackets, or permanent modifications to the vehicle.
The holder accepts flagpoles up to 2.3" in diameter, secured by tightening the thumbscrew against the pole to lock it at the desired height. The unit is 19-5/8" tall overall with a 2-1/2" outer diameter tube, built from heavy-duty steel with a powder-coated finish for rust and weather resistance. Installation and removal take seconds — slide into the hitch, insert the hitch pin, done. No flagpole is included.

The 51611 fits standard 2" square hitch receivers only. It is not compatible with 1-1/4" hitch receivers without an adapter. No flagpole is included. Any standard or telescoping flagpole up to 2.3" in diameter will work with this holder. For stationary use while parked, the hitch pin keeps the holder firmly seated. For driving with a flag flying, ensure the flagpole is rated for use at highway speeds — some lightweight poles are not designed for extended travel at speed.
