The Coleman Mach 9430A755 is the heat-ready zone control box in the 9-Series Zone Control system. It pairs with a single Zone Control 9-Series Digital Thermostat to manage up to four rooftop heat-ready air conditioners and up to four zones of electric strip heating from one wall location — eliminating the need for separate controls at each unit.
Each rooftop AC in a multi-zone installation receives its own 9430A755 control box, mounted in the ceiling plenum beneath the rooftop unit. Zone 1 is wired to the thermostat directly. Zones 2 and 3 daisy-chain from Zone 1 via the thermostat wiring. Zone 4 is added by jumpering the Sig 1, Sig 2, B−, and R+ terminals from the Zone 3 box to the Zone 4 box. Each control box ships with the evaporator freeze sensor in a separate envelope for field installation — the sensor inserts into the evaporator fins and connects by quick-connects to the "FREEZE" terminal strip on the control box.
The 9430A755 is heat-strip ready. When an optional electric heat strip is installed in a heat-ready rooftop AC, the control box and 9-Series thermostat manage both cooling and electric heating from the same wall thermostat. Heat strips are not included and must be purchased separately by series.
The 9-Series zone control system is not backward compatible with 8-Series zone control components. If upgrading from an 8-Series zone system, all zone control boxes and the thermostat must be replaced as a complete 9-Series system — individual component mixing is not supported.

The 9430A755 is a 9-Series component and cannot be mixed with 8-Series zone control boxes or 8-Series zone thermostats. If you are upgrading from an 8-Series zone system, all zone control boxes and the wall thermostat must be replaced together as a complete 9-Series system. Installing a single 9-Series box alongside existing 8-Series components will not produce correct system operation.
The 9430A755 is designed for heat-ready air conditioners — units configured to accept an optional electric heat strip but without a heat pump compressor. For heat pump rooftop units, use the 9630A751 zone control box instead. For cool-only (non-heat-ready) AC units with no heating requirement, use the 9430A751.

All three 9-Series zone control boxes use the same thermostat (9330A3341 or 9330A3351) and share the same dimensions, zone capacity, and wiring topology. The only difference is AC type compatibility: cool-only, heat-ready, or heat pump. Select the box that matches your rooftop unit type.
