The Thetford Porta Potti 365 is the largest model in Thetford's 300 Series portable toilet lineup — a family-size unit with a high-capacity 5.5-gallon (21L) waste holding tank and a natural seating height that makes it comfortable for everyday use, not just emergency or occasional use. Previously known under model designation PP365.
The toilet consists of two sections: an upper section combining the flush water tank and toilet bowl with a detachable seat and cover, and a lower section that's the waste holding tank — the two separate for emptying and reattach with a simple twist-lock mechanism. The piston flush pump delivers up to 56 flushes per fill of the 4.0-gallon fresh water tank. The rotating pour-out spout directs waste into a dump station or toilet during emptying, and a vent button — pressed while emptying — prevents splashback. The valve between the two sections opens and closes with a slide handle; users can choose to keep it open or closed during use, and should always ensure it's fully closed after each use.

If storage space is tight, the 335 takes up less room.
A common point of confusion for first-time Porta Potti users: when emptying the waste tank, press and hold the vent button with your thumb while the pour-out spout points downward. This releases pressure inside the tank and prevents waste from splashing back during pouring. Many users are unaware of this feature — using it makes emptying significantly cleaner.
