Cleaner/Activator chemically alters EPDM surface for a "lock and key" bond with the acrylic coating
The entire coating process — including Cleaner/Activator application, power rinsing, and two coats of Acrylic Coating (each dry to the touch before the next) — must be completed in one day. Do not apply if rain, frost, or freezing temperatures are expected before the coating fully cures.
Part 1 — Cleaner/Activator: 1. Clear roof of debris. Inspect for cracks or tears — repair before coating 2. Protect sidewalls and end caps with plastic sheeting before applying Cleaner/Activator 3. Apply Cleaner/Activator and allow to stand minimum 15 minutes — roof will turn white, indicating the surface has been chemically altered 4. Rinse thoroughly using a minimum 2,000 psi pressure washer. Begin at lowest point, work upward 5. Allow roof to dry completely before coating Part 2 — Acrylic Coating: 6. Seal all cracks, seams, and tears with Coating Ready Cover Tape (included) 7. Apply masking tape along roof edges for clean lines 8. Mix acrylic coating thoroughly for 5 minutes before use 9. Apply 2 coats by roller at 125 sq. ft. per gallon per coat — apply second coat perpendicular to first 10. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next. Allow 12–24 hours for full cure

The Cleaner/Activator is for use on the rubber roof surface only and may damage other exterior parts of the RV. Secure plastic sheeting over all sidewalls and end caps before applying. If Cleaner/Activator contacts any surface other than the roof, rinse immediately with water. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, splash-proof goggles, and rubber footwear during application.
