Next-generation FreshJet ceiling assembly with built-in manual knobs, front-and-back two-way airflow, and a modern two-piece low-profile design. Pairs with FreshJet 3 A/C units and is backward-compatible with legacy Dometic and other brands. 2.3"H x 23"W x 20.4"D, 7.5 lbs. Optional LED light upgrade. No wall thermostat needed.
The Dometic FJXADBM is the FreshJet-native mechanical air distribution box — the next-generation non-ducted ceiling assembly designed alongside the FreshJet 3 rooftop unit, though it also installs with legacy Dometic and competitor air conditioners. It replaces both the older 3314851.000 and the original ceiling assemblies that shipped with Brisk II and Penguin II units.
The FJXADBM represents a meaningful step up from the 3314851.000 in several ways: it is nearly 5 pounds lighter (7.5 lbs. vs. 12.2 lbs.), it has a more modern two-piece design that simplifies installation, and it delivers bidirectional front-and-back airflow for better cabin air distribution compared to the single-direction airflow of older assemblies. Manual control knobs — thermostat and fan speed — are built directly into the unit, so no wall thermostat or communication wiring is required. An optional LED lighting upgrade is also available for the FJXADBM (sold separately), which is not an option on the older 3314851.000.
• 1x Dometic FJXADBM ceiling assembly • Installation hardware • Installation and operating manual Compatible FreshJet 3 rooftop units: • FJX3473MWHAS — FreshJet 3, 13,500 BTU, cool only, white • FJX3573MWHAS — FreshJet 3, 15,000 BTU, cool only, white • FJX3473 and FJX3573 black versions also compatible Legacy compatible: • Brisk II, Penguin II, Blizzard NXT, and select other Dometic units Optional LED light upgrade: • Available as a separate accessory — cool white LED kit for FJXADBM
The FJXADBM is for cool-only non-ducted installations with manual ceiling controls only: • Heat pump A/C units require a different ADB (3314850.000 with Connect Essential thermostat) • Smart / digital thermostat systems require a compatible smart ADB — FJXADBM is not compatible • Ducted systems require a ducted ADB — this is non-ducted only
Both are manual non-ducted ADBs compatible with the same A/C units. Key differences:
