Mid-range specialty shank for Fastway e2 "no-shank" weight distribution systems when the standard shank (92-02-4100) doesn't provide enough drop or rise. Fits 2" receivers. 12" length. Confirm your e2 style (round bar or trunnion) β maximum drop and rise differ between the two. Fits 6K, 8K, 10K, and 12K e2 models.
The standard Fastway e2 shank (92-02-4100) provides up to 4" of drop with round bar systems and about 2-1/4" of drop with trunnion systems β sufficient for most stock tow vehicles and typical trailer coupler heights. But when the standard shank can't reach the correction needed β a moderately lifted truck, a tow vehicle with a higher-than-average receiver, or a trailer with an unusually low coupler β the 92-02-4214 specialty shank steps in as the middle option in Fastway's e2 shank lineup.
With round bar e2 systems, the 92-02-4214 provides up to 6" of drop and 9" of rise. With trunnion e2 systems, the geometry shifts to up to 4" of drop and 9-1/2" of rise. This makes it the right choice for buyers who need noticeably more correction than the standard shank offers but don't need the maximum correction of the 92-02-4315. The same 12" shank length, 2" receiver fitment, and 5/8" hitch pin hole as the rest of the e2 shank family. Designed for e2 "no-shank" models and incompatible with the light-duty 4.5K trunnion system.
More drop and rise than the standard shank (92-02-4100), less than the maximum shank (92-02-4315) β the right fit for moderate-lift setups
Adjustable shank design allows setting the ball height anywhere within the available range β not locked to a single position
Compatible with all Fastway e2 weight distribution systems rated 6,000β12,000 lb GTW, both round bar and trunnion styles
Built by Progress Mfg. in the USA β same manufacturing standards as the e2 hitch system itself
The 92-02-4214 provides different maximum drop and rise depending on whether your e2 system uses round bars or trunnion bars: With e2 Round Bar Spring Bars: Maximum Drop: 6" | Maximum Rise: 9" With e2 Trunnion Bar Spring Bars: Maximum Drop: 4" | Maximum Rise: 9-1/2" If you need more than 4" of drop on a trunnion system, the 92-02-4214 cannot provide it. See the 92-02-4315 (up to 6-1/2" drop with trunnion) for setups requiring more correction. NOT compatible with: The light-duty Fastway e2 trunnion 4.5K hitch (92-00-0450). For even more drop: See 92-02-4315 β up to 8.5" drop (round bar) or 6-1/2" drop (trunnion). For less drop (standard range): See 92-02-4100 β the shank that comes standard with most e2 systems.
Step 1: On level ground with the tow vehicle loaded as it will be while towing, measure from the ground to the inside top of the receiver opening Step 2: With the trailer loaded, measure from the ground to the trailer coupler Step 3: Subtract the coupler height from the receiver height β the result is your required drop Step 4: Confirm your e2 spring bar type (round bar or trunnion) and verify the 92-02-4214's maximum drop for your bar type meets your requirement Example (round bar): Receiver at 21" β Coupler at 15" = 6" drop β 92-02-4214 at maximum for round bar Example (trunnion): Receiver at 19" β Coupler at 15" = 4" drop β 92-02-4214 at maximum for trunnion Contact Fastway at fastwaytrailer.com/contact-us for shank selection assistance.
