Solid steel adjustable ball mount with stow-under-truck storage and built-in anti-theft locking. 7" drop / 7-1/2" rise. Fits 2" receivers. Includes 2" and 2-5/16" chrome-plated dual hitch balls. 8,000 lb GTW with 2" ball / 10,000 lb GTW with 2-5/16" ball. Corrosion-resistant coating.
The Fastway Flash Force is a different kind of adjustable ball mount — one that combines the strength of solid steel with two practical features you don't find on most other mounts: a stow-under-truck design and built-in anti-theft locking. The result is a mount that's ready when you need it, out of the way and secure when you don't, and strong enough to handle serious towing demands day after day.
The 67-00-7570 is the 7" drop / 7-1/2" rise version for 2" receivers — suited for moderately lifted trucks or setups where a significant height difference exists between the receiver and the trailer coupler. Height adjustment is done by removing two stainless steel pins, sliding the ball platform to the correct position, and re-locking — fast and intuitive without tools. To switch between ball sizes, simply rotate the reversible dual-ball platform. When towing is done, the entire arm rotates and locks underneath the vehicle, protecting your shins from the exposed mount end, keeping the tailgate clear, and securing the mount from removal when locked in place. Built from solid steel with a corrosion-resistant finish, the Flash Force is engineered for everything from coastal salt air to snowy off-road terrain.
Rotates and locks beneath the vehicle when not towing — protects your shins, clears the tailgate, and keeps the mount secure from theft
Once locked into the receiver, the adjustable arm cannot be removed — no separate lock to buy or lose for basic theft deterrence
Remove two stainless steel pins, slide to correct height, re-lock — fast height changes without any tools required
Specialized finish protects the solid steel construction against salt air, moisture, and harsh outdoor environments
The Flash Force 67-00-7570 is a ball mount — it connects your tow vehicle to your trailer and holds the hitch ball securely. It does not provide weight distribution or trailer sway control. A ball mount carries the full tongue weight directly onto the tow vehicle's rear suspension. For heavier trailers where tongue weight causes the rear to sag, or where sway is a concern, a weight distribution hitch is the appropriate solution. Fastway offers the e2™ Weight Distribution Hitch series in round bar and trunnion styles for these applications. Consult your tow vehicle's owner's manual for its tongue weight capacity and whether a weight distribution hitch is required for your specific setup.
Selecting the correct drop ensures your trailer tows level — critical for safe handling, even tire wear, and hitch longevity. Step 1: Measure your tow vehicle's receiver opening height from the ground — on level ground with the vehicle loaded as it will be while towing. Step 2: Measure your trailer's coupler height from the ground — with the trailer loaded as it will be while towing. Step 3: Subtract the coupler height from the receiver height. The result is your required drop. Example: Receiver at 22" — Coupler at 15" = 7" drop → 67-00-7570 is the correct choice. The 67-00-7570 also functions as a 7-1/2" rise when flipped — note the 1/2" asymmetry between drop and rise. If your coupler sits higher than the receiver by 7-1/2", this mount works equally well inverted.
Installation Steps: 1. Confirm Drop Size: Measure receiver height and coupler height to confirm 7" drop (or 7-1/2" rise when flipped) is correct for your setup 2. Set Height: Remove the two stainless steel pins, slide the ball platform to your desired height, and re-insert the pins to lock 3. Select Ball: Rotate the reversible dual-ball platform to position the correct ball size (2" or 2-5/16") upward 4. Insert into Receiver: Slide the shank into your 2" hitch receiver and secure 5. Connect Trailer: Lower your trailer coupler onto the hitch ball and secure the coupler latch 6. Stowing After Towing: Disconnect the trailer, rotate the Flash Force arm beneath the vehicle, and engage the locking mechanism to secure it in the stored position Never exceed the rated GTW or tongue weight for the ball mount, hitch ball, receiver hitch, or tow vehicle.
