In a battery watering system, tee fittings branch the fill line from one battery cell to the next. At the last cell in a row -- or wherever a branch is not needed -- the open port on that tee must be capped. The BD-00280-25 is that cap. Without it, the system cannot hold pressure and will leak during filling.
