Flow-Rite sizes Pro-Fill kits by cell count and voltage. A 6V battery has 3 cells; a 12V battery has 6 cells. Four 6V batteries = 12 cells total. Two 12V batteries = 12 cells total. Verify the BG-U24V-BJ valve count matches your actual cell count before ordering. If your battery bank has a different cell count or a non-standard layout, a different Pro-Fill kit may be required.
For the cleanest installation, use a Flow-Rite compatible single-point fill gun or gravity-feed carboy alongside this kit. The single fill port accepts standard Pro-Fill fill gun fittings, making the watering process completely hands-off and spill-proof from container to cell.
