The Furrion FACW10ESSA2-BL-AM is the single-zone wall thermostat for Furrion Chill R32 rooftop air conditioner systems — the wall-mounted control unit that lets the occupant set a target temperature and select operating modes, with the thermostat communicating with the AC controller and air distribution box to maintain that temperature. This is the -AM (aftermarket/retrofit) version designed for replacement or new installations.
The backlit LCD digital display is easy to read in low-light conditions. Two fan speeds (high and low) plus auto fan mode, five operating modes, and controls for both air conditioning and furnace functions give the user comprehensive climate control from a single device on the wall. Auto restart retains settings through power interruptions. Built with Furrion's ClimateSmart and VibrationSmart technologies. Approximately 3" in diameter, 1" deep. 12V DC. This thermostat is designed for Furrion Chill R32 refrigerant systems only. R410A equipment CANNOT be used in R32-designed systems. Furrion Chill systems use two separate wall-mounted components that are sometimes confused: Wall thermostat (this item): Mounts on the wall, provides user interface for setting temperature and modes. Senses room temperature and communicates target settings to the AC controller. AC controller (e.g. FACC12ESHA2-BL-AM): The control box that manages the AC unit, compressor, and air distribution box based on input from the thermostat. Not the same as the thermostat. A complete single-zone Furrion Chill R32 setup requires both a thermostat and a controller, in addition to the rooftop unit and air distribution box.
