The JR Products 10795 is an exact replacement latch for Coleman style entry doors, and it also fits many other entry doors commonly found on fold-down campers. The latch assembly includes a push-button trigger on the outside handle that turns an internal rod to release the mechanism, allowing the door to be opened easily from outside. A locking tab lets you lock the latch from either the inside or outside, adding a basic level of security beyond a simple pull latch. The kit includes both latch pieces along with the spring, turning mechanism, and mounting screws.
While this latch is an exact replacement for genuine Coleman style entry doors and fits many fold-down camper doors, some owners have found it does not fit certain other manufacturers' doors even when the outside casting looks identical.
