The JR Products 06-30195 is a heavy duty stainless steel mesh screen that mounts over the louvered openings of a Dometic RV refrigerator vent, keeping birds, insects, and rodents from nesting inside. A blocked refrigerator vent can interfere with proper airflow around the cooling unit, so keeping pests out helps the refrigerator run as intended. The fine stainless steel mesh does not restrict airflow, and installation is straightforward.
This screen is sized specifically for Dometic refrigerator vents with a 20" louver opening. It does not fit Norcold refrigerator vents. If you have a Norcold refrigerator, JR Products offers separate screens (06-30235 for 19-3/4" openings, 06-30265 for 27-1/2" openings) sized for that brand. Measure your louver opening length and confirm your refrigerator brand before ordering.
