The JR Products 06-11865 is a bi-directional screen door latch, meaning it replaces both left-hand and right-hand screen door latches for AMERIMAX style RV doors. This removes the most common source of confusion when ordering a replacement latch: manufacturers don't agree on which side is "left" and which is "right," and different brands describe direction from different points of view. With a bi-directional latch, that question doesn't matter, since one part works for either configuration.
