In 2019, Ram sold two completely different Ram 1500 trucks with different body styles. The 80710 fits one but not the other: ✅ 80710 FITS: 2019–2023 Ram 1500 Classic (old/4th-gen body style, 5-lug wheels) ❌ 80710 DOES NOT FIT: 2019+ Ram 1500 new body style (DT/5th-gen, 6-lug wheels) How to tell which truck you have: Count the lug nuts on your wheels. 5 lugs = Classic (fits). 6 lugs = New body style (does NOT fit). If you have the 6-lug new body style, see the K-Source 80730 instead — it's made specifically for your truck. This is the most common cause of fitment issues with this product. The mirrors may appear to partially fit (top clips seat) but the bottom clips will not snap in place on a new-style truck.
The K-Source 80710 Snap & Zap mirrors are custom-fit towing mirror extensions that snap directly over the factory mirrors on compatible Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and Ram 3500 trucks. They extend the mirror surface outward to provide a wider rear view when towing trailers wider than the truck — eliminating the blind spots that stock mirrors create when something wide is being pulled.
The "Snap & Zap" design requires no tools and no hardware — the mirrors clip on in seconds using factory-matched mounting points that conform to the exact shape and contour of the OEM mirror housing. The flat lens is manually adjustable for a custom viewing angle, and the mirrors do not block or interfere with the factory mirror glass, turn signals, or puddle lamps (which show through cutouts in the housing). Store them in the truck or trailer when not towing and snap them on at hookup.
