HappiJac (now a Lippert brand) 4160 series jacks are electric, 12V DC lifting jacks commonly installed in sets of four on the corners of truck campers. They allow a single operator to raise, lower, and level the camper for loading onto or off of a pickup truck bed. Each jack is powered by its own motor head, which engages a threaded screw drive to extend or retract the jack leg. The motor head is the electromechanical heart of each jack.
Motor head replacement on HappiJac 4160 jacks is a straightforward mechanical job. The motor head unbolts from the top of the jack body, the drive coupler is transferred to the new motor, and the unit is reinstalled. Disconnect the 12V power leads before beginning any work.
