Lippert 18" Seat Height 1 Pint Per Flush Lippert 2024030310 Flow Max RV Toilet -- 18" Standard Profile, Slow-Close Lid, White

The Flow Max is Lippert's full-residential-feel RV toilet built for daily use on the road. An 18-inch seat height, fully enclosed flush rim, and soft-close seat-and-lid combo deliver a home bathroom experience in a lightweight, water-efficient package that installs with a standard 3-inch floor flange.

Home-Style Comfort Without the Weight

Most OEM RV toilets are short, noisy, and designed around cost rather than comfort. The Lippert Flow Max changes that. At 18 inches of seat height -- matching a standard residential ADA-style toilet -- it eliminates the low-squat awkward posture common to older RV bath setups. The round white bowl is molded from durable lightweight plastic that keeps total weight at just 8.1 lbs, making it easy to handle during installation and easy on your floor structure year-round.

The gravity-flush system uses a foot pedal mounted at the base: a partial press adds fresh water to the bowl, a full press triggers a complete gravity flush with full-bowl coverage. One pint of water is all it takes per flush cycle, making the Flow Max an excellent choice for dry camping, boondocking, or any trip where fresh water tank capacity matters.

Slow-Close Seat and Lid

Hydraulic hinges lower the seat and lid gently every time -- no slamming, no cracks, no middle-of-the-night noise.

Enclosed Flush Rim

The fully enclosed rim directs water around the entire bowl perimeter with every flush, reducing splashback and improving hygiene.

Foot Pedal Operation

Hands-free two-stage pedal: partial press fills the bowl, full press activates the flush. Clean and intuitive.

Water Efficiency

Uses approximately 1 pint (0.5 L) per flush -- critical for boondockers and full-timers managing fresh water supply.

Installation Overview

The Flow Max mounts to a standard 3-inch RV floor flange with the included T-bolts, nuts, washers, and mounting caps. Floor material in the flange area must be between 1/4 inch and 7/16 inch (6-11 mm) thick. The water supply connects via a 1/2-inch NPT fitting at the base -- compatible with the standard flexible supply line found in most RV bathrooms. No special tools or custom adapters are required for a typical swap-out installation.

Direct Drop-In Replacement: If your existing RV toilet uses a 3-inch floor flange and a 1/2" NPT water inlet, the Flow Max installs without modifications in most cases. The compact 13.5-inch front-to-wall depth fits tight RV bath footprints.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The removable lid lifts off entirely for deep cleaning access around the hinge area and bowl rim. Use RV-safe toilet bowl cleaners and a soft brush -- avoid abrasive pads or household bleach-based cleaners that can degrade plastic over time. The enclosed rim design reduces hard-to-reach buildup compared to open-rim toilets.

Maintenance Tip: Treat holding tank odor at the source by using an enzyme-based RV tank treatment after each dump. The 1-pint flush cycle is efficient but requires consistent tank treatment to manage odor in warm climates.

Boondocking and Full-Timer Notes

At 1 pint per flush, a 40-gallon fresh water tank gives you roughly 320 flushes before refill -- significantly more than older 1-gallon-per-flush RV toilets. For full-timers or extended off-grid trips, this efficiency adds up fast. The lightweight plastic construction also adds no meaningful stress to slideout bathroom floors common in modern fifth wheels and travel trailers.

Good to Know: This is a gravity-flush toilet. It does not require electricity or pressurized water to operate the flush mechanism -- only a connected fresh water supply line at adequate rig pressure (typically 30-60 PSI via your regulator).

Important Information -- Read Before Installing
  • This toilet is designed for RV use only. It is not rated for residential on-foundation plumbing systems.
  • Floor flange must be 3-inch standard size. Flange area floor material must be 1/4" to 7/16" thick -- thicker subfloor sections may require a flange extender (not included).
  • Water supply inlet is 1/2" NPT. Verify your rig's supply line termination before purchase. An adapter may be needed if your supply line uses a different fitting standard.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or concentrated household bleach inside the bowl -- these degrade the plastic and void the warranty.
  • The gravity flush system requires an active fresh water supply connection to function. Dry-flushing without water will not clear waste and may cause holding tank odor issues.
  • Always add water to the bowl before use to maintain the water seal in the flange area and minimize holding tank odor.
  • Water supply line, shutoff valve, and floor flange are not included. Inspect and replace corroded flange hardware before installing this toilet.
