This is the single-rail kit for one run of plumbing or wiring. Double and triple versions are sold separately for slides with heavier or multiple line bundles.
Slide-out underfloor runs typically include a mix of fresh water supply lines, gray tank drain connections, 12V DC wiring for slide-room lighting and thermostats, LP gas flex lines, and data/cable TV coax. All of these pass through the same vulnerable zone at the slide-room floor edge. The Flex Guard clips bundle and cradle these lines so they travel as a managed group rather than a loose, unsupported bundle.
The kit mounts to the underside of the slide-room floor using the included 8-inch post and self-tapping hardware. The five clips attach to the rail at evenly spaced intervals to secure the line bundle. The opposite end of the rail attaches to the main chassis using the same hardware pattern as the existing steel rod or swing arm being replaced.
Flex Guard kits are sold as both an upgrade for rigs that leave the factory with basic steel rod systems and as a repair replacement when an existing rod or swing arm has bent, corroded, or broken.
