Create a clean, comfortable outdoor living space at any campsite. The Faulkner 53015 gives you a defined patio area under your RV awning or at your campsite entrance, keeping dirt, grass, and mud from being tracked inside your rig. Lightweight, breathable, and easy to pack up when you break camp.
The Faulkner 53015 is a 9 ft x 12 ft woven polypropylene mat designed specifically for use at RV campsites, patios, decks, tailgates, picnics, and beach outings. At just 1/8 inch thick and 12 lbs, it rolls up compactly and stores in the included bag -- ready to deploy again at your next stop.
Unlike heavier rugs or solid tarps, this mat is breathable, so it does not trap moisture underneath. That means it will not kill grass or promote mold growth on the ground below -- an important consideration at managed campgrounds with grass-site rules.
Colorfast polypropylene construction resists fading and sun damage even during extended outdoor use in full sun.
Breathable open weave lets air circulate and allows the mat to dry quickly after rain or hosing off.
All four corners feature built-in loops so you can stake the mat in place and keep it from shifting in wind. Stakes sold separately.
Hose it off, let it air dry, then roll it back into the storage bag. No special cleaners needed.
The 9 x 12 footprint fits comfortably under a standard RV awning extension and leaves enough room for a couple of camp chairs and a table. Common uses include:
The open woven construction allows airflow and moisture to pass through, making it compatible with managed campgrounds that prohibit impermeable ground covers. It will not smother grass over short-term stays.
Unroll the mat, position it where you want it, and run stakes through the corner tie-down loops to anchor it. The mat lays flat on its own on level ground, but staking is recommended in breezy conditions or on uneven terrain. Rug stakes are sold separately -- standard 6-inch tent stakes work well.
A dedicated storage bag is included with the mat. Roll the mat tightly from one end, secure it, and slip it into the bag for transport or storage in your RV's exterior basement or cargo area.
Routine care is straightforward:
If the mat picks up tree sap or stubborn stains, a mild dish soap and a soft brush followed by a thorough rinse will handle most situations. Avoid bleach-based cleaners, which can degrade the polypropylene fibers over time.
