A purpose-built central vacuum solution for RVs that hides all the hardware, reclaims floor space, and delivers 26% more suction than previous models -- all from a power unit small enough to tuck into a cabinet, utility bay, or dead space around a sink base.
Traditional portable vacuums compete for storage space you don't have. Wall-mount vacs and VacPans require visible cutouts and dedicated real estate. The Dirt Devil CV1500 with the Vroom RV retractable hose system solves all of that by moving the motor and dirt collection to a hidden location while routing a flexible 35 ft hose that retracts completely out of sight when not in use.
The CV1500 power unit installs in a space as small as 10 inches wide by 20 inches tall -- making it compatible with narrow cabinet interiors, utility compartments, and awkward dead spaces that no portable vac could ever use. Because the system routes through flexible tubing, it works around existing plumbing and ductwork without the need for precision planning or structural modifications.
Upgraded motor over previous Dirt Devil central vac models delivers measurably stronger pickup on carpet, hard floors, and upholstery.
Reduced operating noise compared to prior models -- a meaningful upgrade in the close quarters of an RV living space.
The Vroom RV hose stores inside flexible outer tubing and extends to reach every corner of the coach, then retracts and disappears when the job is done.
Included flex connector kits let the system route around obstacles. No straight-line runs required -- installs where a rigid-pipe system cannot.
The Vroom RV is Dirt Devil's retractable hose integration designed specifically for the recreational vehicle market. Unlike residential central vac systems that depend on hard PVC pipe runs through walls, the Vroom uses a flexible outer tube -- 8 ft when not extended -- that can bend around cabinetry, slide through tight chases, and be repositioned after install. The 35 ft hose coils inside this outer tube and is pulled out for use, then automatically retracts.
Because the CV1500 power unit mounts in any orientation and needs only a 10 x 20 inch footprint, RV owners and technicians have installed this system in locations that would be impossible with a rigid central vac:
The included 45-degree Y connector and dual flex connector kits handle direction changes without requiring specialized fittings. Standard installation requires a 120V AC outlet at or near the power unit location.
