The Thetford 50581 is the double-pin termination adapter kit for Thetford SmartTote Premium portable waste holding tanks — the 3" sewer hose connector that attaches to the bayonet fitting on the SmartTote's built-in sewer hose and allows it to be inserted into a standard dump station inlet for tank emptying.
The SmartTote's sewer hose uses a bayonet-style connection at its end. The double-pin termination adapter couples to that bayonet fitting (or can be inserted directly into the dump port without the hose attached). When the SmartTote adapter is lost or damaged, the 50581 is the correct OEM replacement to restore full dumping functionality.
